John met Jacob Barnes when he was working at Westerman's Prop House in Worcester, MA. They spent many hours moving props around the warehouse and talking about films.
Jacob had a short script, Soup or Pie, that he pitched to John, who thought it was hilarious.
Then, a few months later, John became friends with Kevin Brunton. This incredible man had a dream to create an actor's reel, and show off his talents. John and Kevin came up with a plan to develop and shoot three micro shorts. This was done with the collaboration of Manny Jae Media in HollyWooot's first foray into film production!
From that work came three short films! The first of those is Soup or Pie!
Soup or Pie has already gotten some recognition with selections at the First Annual Scandriglia Film Festival in Italy and the First Annual Access Film Fest in Framingham, Massachusetts!
